Description
In October 2016, a new fragrance by A Lab on Fire comes out with the descriptive name Messy Sexy Just Rolled Out of Bed. The founder of the brand Carlos Kusubayashi wanted to create a fragrance that expresses awakening the senses after a passionate night, inspired by photographs of Marilyn Monroe in bed shot in 1961 by Douglas Kirkland. According to Kusubayashi, these photographs show the intimacy of the famous actress with its light and atmosphere, representing the quintessence of being sexy.
The fragrance was developed by perfumer Dominique Ropion who tried to capture these images in a bottle. Bergamot and peach blossom in the top blend with the heart of Turkish rose and heliotrope. The warm, oriental and sweet base includes musk, cashmere, toffee, vanilla, amber, sandalwood and tonka bean.
Messy Sexy Just Rolled Out of Bed is available in bottles of 60 ml.
